Big Day Out 2023
Buses rolled in from Dundalk, Dublin and Limerick; planes touched down and the Viatel Technology Team arrived in our droves for the Big Day Out 2023 aka #BDO23. The #BDO23 hosted by the Galway Bay Hotel this September was the perfect opportunity to visualise scaling into the future, recognise our superstars and celebrate success. And what an action packed, high energy, fun filled 24 hours it was!

Highlights
- Our Keynote Speaker was ‘Liquid Thinker’, Damian Hughes, of the High Performance podcast. Damian joined us to talk about the STEPS to a winning mindset.
- Drums, caterpillars, traffic cones and coming within touching distance of the world Batak record in an afternoon of teambuilding (aka intense competition).
- Business Spotlights: across such a large, diverse and busy organisation it can be hard to keep up to date with all the great work being done. At #BDO23 we took the opportunity to shine a spotlight on customers, projects and business areas where Viatel is making a huge impact. Topics included:

An immensely important element of our celebrations was recognising the best of the best in our SuperStar Awards.
